We negotiated with the police at court and had the charges dropped.
Our client was concerned that if an ADVO was ordered, the client would be at risk of no longer being able to see their children. We negotiated with the solicitor for the applicant and the application was dropped with our client providing an undertaking.
Our client, a medical practitioner, was at the receiving end of very serious allegations of sexual assault. Our client had met the accuser on social media and strongly denied the allegations. We represented the client before a professional tribunal and no further action was taken against our client.
Our client, with a reasonable criminal history, was facing time in jail owing to an offence committed while she was under immense personal pressure. We represented the client in presenting a guilty plea. The client was placed on a good behavior bond.
